Aw, that was sad, but I really liked it. I also like the names you picked for Harry and Hermione's children. The only thing that bothered me was that you started most of the sentences with "I". Other than that, I really enjoyed reading this. Awesome job! |

This story was so touching, it really delves deep into the grief one feels when they lose a loved one. And Tate's assurances to Hermione were very well-spoken, especially the Boy-Who-Lived comment. Excellent job! |

Thanks for posting. When I wrote this, I did think about the fact that wizards live longer and it actually took me several days to decide if I was going to use that to my advantage. I obviously decided against it. The reason being that with the type of story this is, it would be more dramatic and even sadder to have Harry die "prematurely." I hadn't originally thought about how he died, but I think that I will attribute it to the fact that while he was young he took a lot of damage to his body, especially during his defeat of Voldemort. Most critical physical injuries have long lasting damage. Take that as you will; perhas someday I will write a companion piece discussing it more in detail. Thanks for the idea...

Well written, it was sad, obviously. A good one-shot, the only little thing that I wondered about was how Harry died, not out of morbid curiousity, but we know that wizards live roughly twice as long as muggles (Dumbledore is over 150, and one of the o.w.l. examiners mentioned having tested him, so she must be several years older than him, plus Voldemort and Hagrid are pushing 70 but are never said to be old), and if H/Hr were married shortly after school, then 49 years would really only make them middle aged in the wizarding world. |

That was very sweet and heartfelt. I'm a sucker for stories in which Harry and Hermione have had a long, happy married life and the widow(er) reflects on his/her feelings for the spouse who died. This was very nicely done. |

Geez would it kill you to write a happy story. Jk. i think your stories are much needed, your stories happen in real life. Very rarily is everything perfect and you show the downs to living in the HP world, its not all happy ever after. |
