It's entirely possible to see this happening in a very similar manner. I do believe he will have come to grips with the whole murder/killer differentiation before Harry faces Voldie in canon.
But the possibility in fanfiction for the final battle to be thrust upon them early in year seven (Post-OotP), and then having to cope with al the various ramifications throughout the rest of the year would make this mindset very possible.
Good job on the dialogue and pacing of their interactions. |

Aww, so very lovely! I'm a sucker for angsty fluff, so I was thrilled to have stumbled onto this story. And am I glad I did! Poor Harry (at the beginning, of course). You wrote his emotions so wonderfully. Like when Hermione had him imagining all of those terrible things, I was ready to scream with him. It was just so sad. But of course the fluff at the end was loverly! It made me smile and squee and happy dance and all of the other school girly things I do when I read fluff. Fantastic! |

Oh man.....there are no words. I adored this fan fiction. And I am very picky. I really loved how Hermione made him imagine all that stuff and he tried to pull away when she was telling him to imagine all the people h loved dead and she tried to keep his eyes coverd and stuff. I could see it all happening vividly in my mind. I also really liked the kiss at the end. Perfect. Something about it was special. More real than in other fan fictions. I don't really know what it was. I'd be so happy if JKR did something like this. Great job, SecretKeeper. |

That was amazing. Very good and realistic. I could totally picture that happening in canon! Well...maybe JKR wouldn't describe the whole kissing scene for the kids *disappointed because I liked it* Hahah. But still...wow. Awesome stuff. |

Wow.
This was so dark and haunting and just beautiful. The emotions were so well placed, this IS Harry and Hermione. You obviously understand the characters more than most people that write fanfic do... you don't make them act out a silly little fantasy, this is something that I can picture very well.
And it was so full of angst but not the typical kind that drags, it was just brilliant.
The way you incorporated Harry's thoughts, everything about this... I think this is probably the longest review I've ever written.
Again... wow.
Very few fics make me almost cry, and this one did. |

That was beautiful. I could feel Harry's despair at what he'd done, as well as Hermione's determination to make him see that he was nothing like Voldemort. The ending was charming, sweet and so hopeful. |

However, I've just posted the first chapter of my full-length fiction called "Run", so you might be interested in that. I have it all planned out, and can promise that you won't regret reading it if you give it a chance. It's sure to be action-packed (which will be evident from the second chapter, which is already written), and the "romance" will bloom a little more with each update.
