First let me say that I LOVE your story! It's by far one of the best I've ever read. But I had hoped by now that you had finished the first chapter to the sequel. I had lost hope that you would do a sequel, and then I saw your bio saying that you would. You probably got my very happy review, about you writing the sequel, and I've checked once a week since you've said that. Now your bio is gone, and I doubt you really did ever plan on writing the sequel. This review is my plea that you do. I was and still am very fond of your story, and still hope that you will write a sequel. You have a lot of talent!

A magical shield like Protego cannot stop an AK, but D can conjure something solid (such as a block of stone) that could. IIRC, Harry ducked behind a tombstone in the cemetery when Tom returned and used it to block an AK. ALso, in OOTP, D chamred the statues in the Atrium to intercept an AK from Tom to HP, saving him.

So they can be blocked, just not by shield spells.

Ooooh, a swing and a miss! Two, really; you could have killed Draco AND Ron in one swell foop.

But no. You have that "saving people thing."

*sigh* Heartbroken, I am. Truly.

Kidding aside, if Harry was ever going to be able to use the AK on Tom, it would have been while he thought Ron was dead. Maybe you don't plan for him to use it, but to me, that is one of the greatest weaknesses of canon and most fanfic. Some folks just need killing, and Tom is one of them. (And Draco, and--well, never mind the complete list.) There is no shame nor sin in dealing with genuine evil as it must be dealt with.

Have you no shame? Think of the innocent pixels you are sending to their doom in trying to make people pity for the pustule on the arse of the Potterverse that is Draco Malfoy.

Please. Kill him. Kill him horribly, resurrect him, and kill him some more. You'll feel so much better. And the world will be a better place. And think of the pixels!

Sorry. Your story is interesting, but I loathe those characters almost as much as I detest Ron, who has mercifully had little to do so far. I hope you keep that up, but I fear you will try to redeem him, too. But I borrow trouble. You haven't done that yet, and maybe you will nuke all three of them till they glow. I'd like that.
