I totally, absolutely enjoy that. The Ginny in HBP is bitchy, IMO, and not very likeable. Just refer to her putting down Hermione on Quidditch and Fleur for what reason I don't know. But in this one, she's quite a fun character.

But, pervert or no, I like to think the voyeuristic, second string little Gryffindor is something akin to all of us.

You've thoroughly pegged the hormonal, voyeuristic teenaged girl's stream-of-consciousness. You've a deft hand with the third party narrative in describing that moment of epiphany between Harry and Hermione. I particularly like Harry's being a litle masterful and Hermione's resenting it. I think it characterizes their relationship to a large degree (and certainly in line with what the third film illustrated), the fact that they're both equally determined people.
I enjoyed it thoroughly. |

That was very,very amusing! I never saw Bridget Jones so I don't know how much of a homage it was, but the way you wrote it seemed very orginal. And as good as a reason as any for those two to start snogging.I liked all of Ginny's little asides. Personally I never like her and the Ferrit together[his genocidal tendencys tend to make me overlook any lickabilty he may posse]But I digress.
Re Bachlorette party; Well of course we want the best for you two, though the logistics have me in a dither. I mean the two of you live like a katrillian miles apart, so brooms seem out, and the price of Portkeys these days! Oh well we'll figure it out. As long as theres lots of wine and maybe some bubbley I'm sure it be fine. And what, dancing Firemen? Wait! Janie likes Harley Riders hmmm, have to think more, this hetrosexual dude of honor, for hetrosexual females, stuff is tricky.  Can't wait!  |

And yes, not only am I a heterosexual female I am married (to a heterosexual male) and I have two (heterosexual male) offspring BUT I agree with you wholeheartedly, we could make it work!!!! With bells on!!! Why? Because I just read this/your fic ("From the Diary of Ginny Weasley") (and I'm copying this review into my reply to you at MY fic) and it's the funniest f*****g thing I've ever read!!! I literally have sore sides, ran out of breath and had tears running down my face!
And you've only read Chapter One of Four Weddings so far? I can't wait to see what offer/s I get after the other chapters, let alone my other fics!! Darling magpie_igraine, to be someone's "favoritest writer" AND be asked to "keep up the fabulous work" scores high in my book! The really WEIRD thing is I saw this fic and your other fics in the list and the titles all intrigued me but being in a hurry I just SKIMMED!!!!
