THIS IS SUPER! I think the plot of the upcoming books can be similar to your fan-fiction. He nneds to know that someone on the world loves him.

This is a wonderful little story, Caina. I think your characterization of Hermione is spot on, and I'm thrilled that she's the first person to tell Harry "I love you" (the first he can remember, anyway). To me it doesn't even matter whether it means she's *in love* with him; I'm convinced already that she loves him (at least as a friend) and once Harry hears that, he'll have a reason to do what he has to do. Lovely work.

Very nice. It incorporates the larger theme of the books that love is the greatest power of all and the very accurate characterizations of Harry and Hermione. I liked it.

Beautiful. I truly believe Hermione will be his first "I love you". She's been first at everything else with him thus far. I love that description of Harry holding her hand as she sleeps it just made me sigh with warm fuzzy feelings.

Very... hm... sad. Fluffy. Tragic. Dizzy. Light. Angsty. Yes, all in one. It's just a bit sad that he realizes no one has ever said it to him. And all of the fluff - how I love the fluff. Hermione is very Hermione-ish. Always a plus.
