EXCELLENT WORK! Awesome and powerfull and damn scary in how badly the two had been manipulated! Great job with the taking of the fight to them and the various training they got from remus and tonks and the help that sirius gave them! Awesome work! |

Actaully I have been concidering making it into a full story, but I haven't found the time between real life and the lions series, which I still need to get the last chapter of Lions done and up, and enough of shadows done to start posting it. |

Wow! That was really well written. Very emotional! I would have to say though that I don't particularly like that portrayal of Dumbledore as a mean old man who is only doing this for himself, but I do like the story! Keep up the great work!  |
Author Feedback: It definately not how I actaully picture DD. In truth I feel he is probably closer to the DD that I show in my main series. I think that DD will start to to own up to his mistakes and fawls in HBP.

I've often wondered if Dumbledore is just a little too good to be true... What if he does slip into a bit of madness to fight of Voldemort? How would that affect the wizarding world?
i think you've dealt with that eloquently. harry would be but a kamikaze and his soul would be of no consequence to them. i'm glad he still has hermione...
i don't konw if 'lovely' is the word for this - but it is great. |

a very interesting off shoot from your story.
i like how even after everything that happened to the two, they are still able to find each other. and the fact that they are able to join together despite the plotting and manipulations of both sides of the war. the point that not even dumbledore knew the extents of their knowledge and powers is a really good touch.
this could lead to an intriguing story line. a sort of dark or revenge-based harry and hermione.

I liked it! A well written piece. I agree with your assessment. Dumbledore has not adequately trained Harry to defeat Voldy. Most of the more intense authors tend to follow along the same lines.
Albus wants a suicide bomber, (kamakazi) to destroy Voldy without disrupting his own place in wizarding society. It appears the very thing he accused Fudge of in Book 4, he himself is guilty of.
I wonder how Rowling is going to work that out.
I think you could write this into a much longer fic, including details on all the death and destruction, not to mention the isolation Harry had felt during the summer. I believe it would be well recieved. Please consider it. Alorkin |
Author Feedback: Thanks. The whole training issue is why I choose to show explictly the training of the them in the main series. I wasn't going to work on this...I have enough to be about in the immortal words of DD, but if JKR puts R/Hr together in HBP...after I toss the book across the room a few times...everyone dies 
Seriously I was wondering what a three way war would do. I know of one other author who had concidered something like that...H vs. DD vs. Hr, but I always thought a h/hr vs. dd vs Voldie would be better.
You guys know I can do the death and destruction...is that a good thing? |

I like the way Harry admitted to Hermione that he love her. "Me too."

This was wonderful. I love the idea of a Dark Dumbledore. It would be interesting to see how the war would play out with neither Dumbledore or Voldemort wanting to have a rival for power. I loved it. Keep up the great work. |

wow, this was cool. i've always enjoyed the quasi-evil!dumbledore stories. you could go somewhere with this. i love the way you put harry and hermione together in this one though. and i can see the connection to the lions of gryffindor. very well connected there. great job! |

this is a very very good little story and one that could be very easily turned into a series or a novel length fic. It would be something I would definitely read. There are not nealry enough dark(but not evil)harry/hermione fics out there, and I love the idea where they declare war on everybody. I really do hope you would decide to turn this into something or leave it in the hands of a capable writer you trust to handle. The story idea is honestly too good to just leave here. |
Author Feedback: No they aren't evil here, but they would be dancing on the line. Basically I read a quote in another novel (we few by john Ringo), where that they stated that our conciencenes are not really internal, but a reflection of how we want others to see us. What if we just don't care anymore as the only person that's left is fallen into the pit right with us.
I may try to play with something, problem is I already have parts of 2 more books in the Lions series started (shhh don't tell anyone) and I'm a bit...concerned on what Rowling will spring in HBP. |

i like the premise of this plot.  i seldom read a fic where dumbledore has been portrayed this way... an its a fascinating material especially when hhr come together and decides to fight against dumbledore and riddle. i hope you can expand this a couple more chapters or at least till the face off and outcome bet. the 3 sides(ad/hhr/tr)
and i love the lions series too waiting with baited breath for the coming chapters
