I liked it... it's amazing you're a great author. Never doubt that
keep it up
-megz-
p.s. sorry this is so short, but i don't know what to say to give the story justice.
p.p.s. i just remembered... one thing(flaw) i noticed... when the death eater used the polyjuice to turn into harry he also got the clothes..... that wouldn't have happened... but i still liked the story |
Author Feedback: Hi there!
Thank you soooo much! And don't worry about the length of your review - "from the heart" (short, long or medium!) is always best! And do you know, no one has ever before picked that about the polyjuice and the clothes!!!! Even me, who obsesses over chapters even after they're posted, never picked up that one!! Go you!!! (and so glad it didn't wreck the story for you!)
Hope to see you round some of my other stories!
Cheers and ciao!

Ah! Oh no, what did he do, what did he do??? |
Author Feedback: Hi there!
Thanks for taking the time to review! And as for what he did - I'm so nice, I actually tell you in the next chapter!
Cheers!

Thanks for such a wonderful story, Janie. It was great getting to read it (pretty much) without stopping. I did listen to that Dana Glover song, and it definitely does sum up Harry's & Hermione's relationship! Fabulous job! Looking forward to more of Sorcerers Nook, though I will probably go browse some of your other works, too! |
Author Feedback: Hi again!
Well, it's been a couple of weeks since you finished this - weeks in which I did intend to reply but, well, Christmas got in the way! It was a lot of fun reading each review, watching your "journey" through the story! And I know what you mean when you said in an earlier review that it's good to have the story finished when you read it! And I'm glad you agree about that Dana Glover song - I still think of Harry and Hermione whenever I hear it!
Anyways, now that Christmas is over, next week I'm planning on finishing the rather tricky next chapter of "Sorcerers' Nook" so hopefully I'll "see you at the Nook!'
Thank you again so much for all your reviews for "FWAAF"!
Cheers,
Janie |

Just the right amount of steaminess and "niceness". Hm, am I right in guessing that the funeral was the one for Draco's mom? Just making sure I've got my count straight :-) -- one more chapter to go! |
| |
|
An amazing description of Harry's power! It was a really great mixture of joy and sadness, and was definitely worth staying up late to read! I know I have another couple of chapters to go, but I think they'll have to wait until tomorrow! Great job, as always, Janie. |
| |
|
You certainly weave a fine story! That was quite an interesting twist, having one Death Eater become Seamus (who I still don't like fancying Hermione, but that's just me :-) ). Even though it's getting late, I think I have to read one more chapter! |
| |
|
Another wonderfully written dark chapter, Janie! It's amazing how much like Voldemort Malfoy has become. That tidbit from the next chapter certainly gives some hope -- I wonder what power Harry is displaying for dear Lucius? I should add that I can only imagine the horror that Hermione feels when she sees "Harry" kissing Ginny right in front of her. |

|
Wow, that's quite a cliffie there, Janie. And, of course, we know just how evil Lucius Malfoy is. There is such a sense of despair on both Ginny's & Hermione's part. You do such a wonderful job of conveying that. I'm really interested to keep reading with how you ended this chapter! |
| |
|
Plenty of angst here, Janie. It makes you feel pity for poor ol' Draco (much as that pains me to say, though I guess seeing him as being pompous, but not all bad is not too much of a stretch). You can certainly feel for Harry (especially the notion that he will know that Hermione is in danger, but can't do anything about it). It's one of those situations that really is difficult, no matter the circumstances.. Going on to read the next chapter! |

|
Ok, it's getting a bit late for me to keep reading (but you keep leaving such lovely cliffies, Janie!). Great building of suspense, and I do wonder how Ron will take the news when he hears of it. The description of Harry's & Hermione's anguish when they realize that she has to go to Malfoy Manor is so realistic that I can really feel their pain. I may have to read one more chapter tonight! :-) |
| |
|
Yes, it's definitely getting darker! I wonder how Lucius managed to get into the Burrow to entice Ginny out! The descriptions of the wedding (and Harry's so-painful frustration at having to wait for "fulfillment" with Hermione) were really great. Yup, that Seamus is such a sneaky character, though I hope Harry really takes to heart that Hermione wants to be with him and only him.
And, you know what you've done now, Janie -- you've left a cliffie that I have to read past! Just one more chapter tonight :-) |
| |
|
I always thought there was something shifty about Seamus. Just kidding, though it is curious to me how you'll play that angle on the story (against that backdrop of impending trouble from Lucius Malfoy). The charades game was such fun to read as well! |
| |
|
"Magical Twister", now there's a game that brings interesting imagery to mind! Lovely descriptions as usual, and I'm very impressed with Neville in your fics -- he's quite mature (much more so than JKR ever wrote him, other than a few flashes in OOTP & DH). Lots of fun! |

|
Wow, I must have ESP (or you did, Janie!). Scary chapter, just for how hard it seems for the good guys to be able to catch up with Lucius & his plans. I'm curious how you came up with the potion for countering the Polyjuice Potion -- it's quite clever how you suggest it. |
Author Feedback: Hi again!
Just thought I'd drop a line to let you know I am keeping up with your reviews (for which I thank you again! ) I think I've commented previously that you've got me re-reading parts of "Wedding"! And even I can tell the difference in my writing - I have to stop myself from editing and revising! As for that Invenios potion - I think it was a case of necessity being the mother of invention! But the name I would have gotten from the English to Latin site I use - a site I always use for charms, spells and potions that aren't canon.
OK - happy reading - I always look forward to hearing what you think!
Cheers,
Janie |

Wow, I was getting confused! After all that steamy stuff, the rest of the chapter was anything but fluffy :-) -- I'm very curious about that wild goose chase and who was behind it. I've always wondered why the wizarding world doesn't have a way of seeing through someone using Polyjuice Potion, as it would have certainly helped here. On to the next chapter! |
