You know, this story did more than just entertain me... my best friend and I just had our first big fight a few hours ago, and I settled on some fanfic to calm me down... and this reminded me of last summer when he dragged me onto the ferris wheel (with, well, just about the same results, plus me nearly passing out, and he hadn't, you know, destroyed a Dark Lord a few months previous) and I just was reminded of that warm fuzzy feeling I had at the time and it calmed me down quite a bit.
I was in tears before I read this but it really kind of put everything back in perspective for me. Bet you didn't expect that kind of response for a little fluffy story.
I enjoyed this a lot -- it was just... well... happy. Very happy. Thank you for writing it, and putting in the Fred and George cameo. That made me smile a lot. |

Adorable story! And I understand completely how Hermione felt--I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of heights. Ferris wheels are the worst, because they go so slowly. Lucky for her that she had Harry to help her, eh? LOL
Well done! |

That story was SO cute! I loved it! You did an excellent job! AND I really loved it 'cause Fred and George were in it! They're my favorite!
LOVELY LITTLE BIT OF FLUFF! |

Is there an emoticon for *Applause!* Or even, "Author! Author!"
(checks available smileys... drat!)
Oh well... this should do:
It's a nice, warm and lovely tale... not too heavy on the mind , just fluffy enough for a morning break from routine and RL... something for extra energy just this side of a sugar rush.
Plus I do have to applaud the appearance of Gred and Forge... I was well on my way to thinking, "Yeah, right--caught on a ferris wheel, how trite can you get?" (Although I will admit that I *still* loved the story )
But Gred and Forge just made things... perfect.
Thank you.

HAHAHA I love that Fred and George masterminded the whole thing!!! I love those two!
One problem I had was near the beginning where Hermione said that she couldn't master the levitation charm, isn't that the name for "Wingardium Leviosa"?
Otherwise, it was so sweet and quite amusing that Hermione, who had faced down Death Eaters was terrified of a Ferris Wheel. hehehe *sigh*
Looking forward to more of On Toward Morning! |
