This story has been in my favorites for awhile now, but I just realized I never left a review. Which is a shame because this is probably my favorite H/Hr one-shot ever written. I love the simplicity of your writing, and you really capture the beauty of the H/Hr connection. I enjoy a lot of your stories!

This story is so very beautiful.
I found it on a list of best H/Hr one-shots on a Portkey thread and I completely agree.
It is so simple and yet there lies its true power. The level of comfort and trust in their relationship, the bit about the books in the beginning, the mismatched hair-bands that Harry puts on the braids that he makes in her hair - all of this was so utterly lovely.

I've read this story a long time ago and am re-reading it again. It is so nice, and kinda sexy actually. I remember JKR said that Harry needs Hermione badly, and I'm thinking, you know, for purpose of having babies, he'd definitely need her badly.

The hair thing - I think we have all been bushwhacked by Harry's eleven-year old vocabulary of calling Hermione's hair 'bushy', so we think she does not have beautiful hair.

On the contrary, I have always imagine Hermione to have Shakira hair - you know, the Latin singer, Shakira. She has thick, scrimpy, rock chick hair, very sexy. I imagine Hermione's hair to be like that. And for eleven-year Harry to call such hair 'bushy' is perfectly understandable.

But by Book Six [yeah, that dratted book], he actually described her as having 'a long mane of brown hair.'

So, I think, Hermione has beautiful hair.

oh i completely loved that - it's so them, i can see them not being fussed with some big fake 'romantic' proposal, just something simple and heartfelt. looking forward to reading more of your fics now

I simply ADORE this fanatic fiction, it's so WONDErful and punny and cute! I particularily loved the way in which you ended it, talking about the awful hair thier kids would have, it made me laugh simply because it's so true.
