I wish there was a way to say that I enjoyed this for the pure display of Harmony, but in the end, I didn't. It almost seems useless to write something like this. There is so much heartache in the world as it is, that there is no need for such brutality in stories. Then again you wouldnt see things from my perspective.
Most of the stories I have read from you were top notch so dont think I have condemmed your writing style for this one snippet. Continue to write Harmony the way you started and everyone will be beter off for it. Leave the strife and terror for the real world.

Wow. That was the strangest kind of story, but it was very good. Excellently written. I really hated Draco. |

The Harry in this reminded me alot of PoU!Harry! That's a good thing of course... he's a man.
Which is one reason why this story is so good. Harry's a man. Not a boy. And the man just isn't some random person... but it's Harry.
If that makes any sense. xD
Anywho... A very moving story. Very sad. I liked the way you revealed what had happened. A very nice way to deal with back-story.
Wonderful.

Good story. Glad you made Harry out to be human, admitting that Draco had 'got to him'. Thanks! |

*sighs and puts a comforting arm on Harry* Don't you worry about feeling remorse and extreme anger for that one hell of a monster, Harry. The whole world is actually going to be happy he's going to die! I for one wholly wish he'd die a very slow, painful and hellish death! You don't have to feel guilty for that! *wipes tears*
I really admire them--Hermione in this story. She is so understanding and forgiving. On the other hand, Harry has become very mature and compassionate. I love that he tries so hard to put the killing behind him and start anew. Draco didn't even deserve one last conversation with him! |

This was awesome. The way you wrote them in character. I'm glad Harry didn't show Malfoy that he hurt him hard. Oh well done! |

I am speechless. This story made me speechless for a very long time, believe me. Because of the wisdom shining through it. I've never read anything like that before. I've never read about Harry's *greatest* victory - not letting hatred and revenge take over his soul, his life. Harry is POWERFUL in this story. More powerful that in any display of his magic.
'That’s the difference between you and me. I can look at you and not want you dead. I can look at you and pity you. You never had a chance—you never made your own choice. You’re going to die tomorrow as a slave. You’re going to die and the world will celebrate. I pity you.'
That's all in here. I don't think I can find the right words to tell you how I feel now. But it's a great feeling.
F., I don't know how you do it. I don't know where your tremendous insight into a human soul comes from. But you're brilliant, and the depth of your writing is almost scary.
As always, I loved all H/Hr-ness here. She's the healing of his wounds and he's the healing of hers. They're amazing together and I want to thank you so much for letting us discover and marvel at it over and over again.
I thank you, dear, for this story with all my heart. As I've told you already, I don't think I'm able to express my gratitude and delight well enough. I think it touched such feeling deep down my heart that are simply undescribable.
*hugs* |

It took me awhile to work up the courage to read this. You know my issues with angst. Luckily, it wasn't nearly as angsty as I thought it would be.
Very interesting, the conflict between Harry's sense of righteousness and his inability not to want to rip Draco to pieces for what he did. Personally, I'm all for the ripping. Pity Harry's genuinely good at heart, unlike some of us.
Very good ficlet.

Author Feedback: Heh. I'm wondering what "really angsty" is to you.

Well, you know how much I love Harry. Because he's... all Harry-ish and "doing the right thing" just because that's what he believes in his heart. I'd be all for the ripping too. But he's Harry. *loves*
Yes, yes, I wrote an entire fanfiction pretty much based on my Harry!love. It's probably an awful thing to do, but I felt the need.

That was really good. Is this a one shot or is there more to this story? More I hope seeing how well written it is. Please post again soon. |
Author Feedback: It's a one-shot, but thanks for your interest in more. I do like this universe, but I feel like I said everything I needed to say in this, despite its short length. |

I guess it's a good thing I'm not the Boy Who Lived, then, for I don't have that much mercy in me. The most mercy something like Draco could expect from me would be a quick, clean death; life imprisonment without chance of release is *not* mercy, it's torture.
I'm glad you included that bit at the end that showed that Hermione had survived her ordeal relatively intact. No doubt she has her own scars, mental if not physical, but she is a strong woman, and with Harry there for her would hopefully be able to put the events behind her. |
Author Feedback: You're right, Harry's way better than any of us. But that's what makes him Harry. I really wanted to do a piece where he'd have every justification to hate Malfoy, but one where he was able to truly be the *better* person. That's why Harry's the hero. Not because he's the only who can defeat Voldemort, but because of his constant need to do the right thing.
I knew that Hermione had to be alive. I just couldn't imagine Harry being able to do what he did if she wasn't.
Thank you so much. I know you're not much of a Draco fan either (right?), so it's very nice hearing from you. |
