Wow! Great job with this one shot also, a very very intresting look at how things really started, I liked how you handled the potters! Excellent work with hermmione and what she showed harry. Excellent realization in that both of them didn't know the power but she could show him. And while depressing it was good that albus made the points he made about them and what could happen with Harry. Kudos!

The opening was a very nice take on how Harry's life was before & Voldy's attack on that fateful Halloween.

I'm glad Hermione was able to talk some sense into him (the daft git).

Dumbledore & McGonnagall's converstaion was very illuminating and an interesting perspective on what Harry might become if he loses his way (since Hermione is his conscience).

hey! *applause* i reallyliked your story! i mostly enjoyed the beginning. the tension between harry+hermione you created was awesome! and i also liked dumbledore's and mcgonagall's conversation and the fact that harry's+hermione's aura is so strong. oh and the ver beginning with lily and james!!! how could i forget to mention it? i liked the idea of letting lily know what theyhave to expect. and that they tried to act normal. that was really brave! and it was so heartbreaking and endearing at the same time! james playing with little harry, lily kissing him onthe cheek... *wipes tears away* great fiction!!!

I liked this very much. Interesting take on the spells James and Lily used. I could see them doing that. And of course the H/Hr love, can't get enough of that. Good job!

I love your take on the reason for the death of Harry's parents - very original and very believable. And your treatment of the power that Voldemort knew not was very well done. Loved the H/Hr interaction.

very nice story. i liked seeing the sacrifice made by lilly and james was intentional. that would take a true level of love.

another nice touch was the realism of harry not knowing how to recognize the feeling of love. yet hermione is the one character in canon with a stubborn streak just as wide as harry's. and she would make sure to get through his defenses.

my favorite part, though, was mcgonagall's reaction to dumbledore's hypothesis. the concept of a light-warrior becoming enraged obviously hadn't occurred to her. yet that would be a very likely outcome if the described events did come to pass.

Oh my gosh. This story is simply amazing. I am so glad that you kind of did the same story, but it you did it in a completely different and new way. I love how you had the different reactions to their relationship. Ah! I just love the whole thing. Great, great job. I think I'm going to read it again now.

Truthfully, I'm at a loss to describe just how remarkable this story is. I was so involved in it, I didn't even hear the phone ringing...and it's right next to me.

The entire thing with James and Lilly and baby Harry at the beginning was adorable...until the bad part at the end.

Then the Harry/Hermione stuff was just as sweet as it could be. It can be truly amazing the power she can have over him, uh? But the way you described his fury with her intruding on his thoughts to his breaking down...wonderful stuff. Excellently written.

And Dumbledore's and Minerva's reactions...wow. The description of Harry and Hermione's aura was beautiful. I could actually see it in my mind.

This story was very well written. The emotions were perfect. And the best part is, it's TOTALLY believable!! I can so see something like this happening. We can only hope that JKR agrees with us!!
