Quantum mechanics? You just had to bring that in didn't you. No 17 or 18 year old kid has the required background in theoretical physics or calculus to understand even the basics of quantum mechanics. Hell even people with PhDs in the field barely understand it due to its near complete counter-intuitive nature and the fact that it's impossible to do any of the calculations without a supercomputer due to the extremely complex differential equations.

I don't care how smart Hermione or Harry are, it would take them years of study just to attain the level of mathematical knowledge to just begin to understand the basics of it. Then they would have to go through more years of study to put it all together. Given how long this process takes, they are going to be at least 26 or so before they have a good enough understanding to make their mark.

Being a genius gives you a good head start, but it does not allow mean you can go straight from knowing almost no calculus to understanding quantum mechanics in a year. Arithmancy may be the basis for spell creation, but it has little to do with calculus.

valedictorian another dumb american idea. what the hell is wrong with these yanks do they think the entire bloody world lives like they do, ignorant bleeders are bloody insulting with their bloody lack of knowledge of anything outside their strange little world. Oy yanks the rest of the world had their own cultures even before the bloody americas were discovered, we dont all do as you do.

This story needs to be reread by the writer and the spelling corrected. The story itself is quite interesting and enjoyable but to keep reading that they were having a 'conversion' instead of a conversation along with the errors is rather annoying.

I dont think that a good writer would use the dumb nickname Herm, when all through the seven books Hermione would not accept such a name.

I gota ask. Does any one know what these protections from the blood of Harry's aunt are. From the stories in the books he is obviously not protected from DE's, Dementors, the ministry or even Voldemort, (or his dumb ass relatives come to think of it) So what the hell is he protected from. If its to protect him for when he stays there, then to my mind it would be far better if he didnt stay there at all. I really would like to know the answer. I JKR once but she either did not hear or ignored my question.

Always confuses me when writers get the age of Hermione wrong, I mean come on thicko's its in canon and in thousands of fanfics. Hermione is ten months older than Harry and there is no reason to change it and make your self look stupid to the readers.

A nice show down was great and the Slytherins got what they truely deserved. I am looking forward to reading the next chapter and please keep the updates coming along.

So Ron and Luna hey. That is how it should have been in the actual books and that Ginny should have been killed of instead of Fred. Oh yeah Harry and Hermione all the way.

A great start to this story and I can't wait to see how this story will pan out. Nice reunion between Harry and Hermione and I hope when they both meet up with Ron that he'll truly make up for the fight that the trio had at the end of sixth year.

Very much liked the note to Tom. Hehehe. Really like this story.
