Same old story, often times rehashed with minor alterations, but this one I should say, stands out from the rest.  Maybe because it was perfectly written?  I guess because the story was personal - coming from experience - inner feelings put into writing, like Hermione's journal - which made this more wonderful and unique.
Lovely description of their post-Hogwarts life, I wish that's how it's going to end in the books - with them all alive.

Author Feedback: Yes, I realized that it was the same-old story when I started writing it. I think that's why I DID write it, because it was based on personal experience and I was thinking, "Wow...my life... a fanfic?". It was quite amusing for me. ;D
But thank you so much for the compliments. It's always good for an author to hear that they brought something of their own and new to something that's been pretty much beaten into the ground. And perfectly written? Nah. 
And I thought that the journal was something that was in her character in her to do. I can just see her getting incredably fusterated and scribbling furiously all over it.
And thank you! I always thought that Hermione would make an excellent Healer. I do hope that they all make it out alive. It would be a most lovely ending.

Absolutely brilliant. I was really worried there for a while that it would be a really sad piece to read. But I was pleasantly surprised. The angst was almost palpable. How did Harry realise that Courtney wasn't Hermione? What about the missing journal? Will we get another perspective? Perhaps Harry's or Ron's?

Wow! This story rocked. I am so sorry that you had a situation similar to this, and I know you said you didn't necessarily want sympathetic reviews, but your experiences gave us a wonderful story with a (thankfully!) happy ending. Great job, and I hope you plan on writing more on this one!

Hey great job on this little bit of angsty fluff. Great work with hermione's diary entries and her thoughts and feelings. I treally think you have everyone spot on and have a great view for how JKR would continue things out of hogwarts realistically. Keep up the great work! |

Good story! Love the way you wrote Harry and Hermione, it was intense, their connection. I think JKR writes them that way...they have a bond like no other. There's no way they could love anyone else like they love each other. The doorway scene was perfect. Great job!
