Just wanted to say I've loved reading your stories and I'm so sorry for your loss.
Muses can be finicky little bitches sometime. I've been so hard up before that I have been completely and totally unable to even review.
Anyway, good luck with everything and I look forward to reading something of yours in the future.
You could always try the various 100 word challenges out there. Most authors find it very very very hard to fall short wordage wise on those.

I must confess that this story is one of my faves on PK and have missed it terribly. But having said that, YOU COME FIRST. You write whenever/whatever you muse lets you in YOUR TIME and don't worry about us. While there are a lot of us that hope for a resolution to this great fic, we are all understanding about the "Real Life" thing and how that must take precedence.
You take care of yourself and hopefully we'll see you back with an update soon!!

In all truth, after hearing that, I mostly hope your creativity is going to anything else that will help in the healing then. Writing as catharsis is, imo, probably more important than any other writing could be. So maybe those activities will help improve my outlook so that I can get back to this story. Anne, the more important thing is that you allow yourself to take the time you need to recover--and I don't just mean writing-wise. Losing a loved one is a difficult part of life, no matter how expected or unexpected it was. Maybe you could just work on it a little bit each day instead of sporadic surges of writing? That sometimes works for me, and it might help to sort of exorcise some of your anxieties. I don't presume to say that I know what you're going through, but I just wanted to let you know that I will still be here to read Umbrage when you are able to update, however far into the future it is. You have a great gift in writing and it'll all come back to you! ~Ronnie |

my grandmother died 2 weeks ago so i have an inkling of what you are going through. i have absolutely loved this story, and i plan to anticipate the next chapter for as long as it takes. better make it good! lol but dont get me wrong, it has been absolutely FANTASTIC! im just so anxious to kno who the stalker is! lol
