I'm sorry that this story hasn't been updated in almost two years. It was a really good one, though the though of Harry actually going through with his plan depresses me. I've always loved your stories, Scratching the Itch is my absolute favorite. I hope you come back and finish this story one day, if only to tell us all who the stalker is, I personally think it's either Cho or her friend but I could be wrong. Thank you for the story...

Very many bad things running through my mind. Don't feel bad about it though. I like it when a story can move me emotionally, and a love story that isn't flowers and perfume makes me pretty happy.

Haven't finished the chap yet but just wanted to comment on the inclusion of the link for the ring. Brilliant addition to the story!

So it took me three days to read this fic properly without interruption and I found it's exceptionally written and has a rather good plotline.(though I hated his martyr complex)

I really wish your muse would come back, maybe you could put out wanted posters? Update please, for me cause I have a wife and three kids to feed... that makes no sense.

Although I have for the most part left left the fanfiction world of HP, I have always come and checked for update for this story. I understand how life can sometimes just throw youa curve and how it can take time to recover, but I will continue to wait.

Wow. I just spent the whole day reading this fic, and I have to tell you I'm loving it. You have done a fantastic job with this fic. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

I really hope that some day you can finish it, but as a writer suffering from a HUGE case of writers block myself, I can totally understand and sympathize. I wish you luck, and hope that you can get your creativity back. It's so hard to *want* to write, and then not be able to. I know.

Oh my...*gulp*..that stalker has some kind of imagination. There was some name dropping in this chapter and my mind is in a tizzy...dying to find out who this is!

The Ackerley stuff was too funny, love Hermione's embarassment and Harry's reaction. Loved to have read Harry catching Ackerley sniff snacking...LOL!

Harry finding out that Hermione had feelings for him since fifth year was so sweet.

I'm really liking the beginning of every chapter...the journal writings of the stalker are so brilliant...scary and funny at the same time. It's so Tarantine-esque for me.

Whew...it wasn't a polyjuice...had to go back and re-read the end of 2nd chapter again

Loved the harry and tonks bit, I do enjoy a little honks once in awhile.
Nice that Harry and Ron patch things up, their interaction is great in this fic.

Doa…for some reason when I saw the title “Umbrage” I was thinking about Umbridge. From the Malfoy reference, I’m thinking a slytherin girl like Pansy is the lurker. Female stalkers are scary.

Now you got me all paranoid. The end of this chapter had me feeling very uneasy. I was so nervous…biting my nails… praying that it’s not a polyjuice. Harry better not make a catastrophic mistake to ruin the best thing in his life.

What a great first chapter! I can read your version of Harry and Hermione all day…they’re so sweet and so naughty at the same time. Harry and Ron’s locker room banter was hilarious…too bad they had to get into a row. Harry had a point there.

I wish I could ignore the sinister start, I don’t want the old hag to come into the picture yet. I have a feeling this is going to be a bumpy ride
