This should have happened in cannon. Seriously, the writing was good enough to pass as JKR worthy. I especially liked the quote from sex and the city: "What are we doing? I'm talking about us. Life's too short, what are we doing?" " I don't know"

Very nice story; you kept the characterization of both Harry and Hermione close to canon. Also, you did a lovely job conveying their emotions and thoughts to the reader.
Just one question, and please don't take this the wrong way.  Do you have a beta? There were a couple of grammatical mistakes that might have been caught by a beta.

Thing is, II is an old story, more than one year old, and I did a "cleaning" of it, if you'd like to say that. But then, my Internet connection crashed and I had to finish the re-read and post immediately while I had the chance.
Maybe, someone will want to do a new cleaning of it. But, right now, I didn't get a chance.

This is so close of the characters... So JKRy (if you know what I mean)... I could see that exact scene happening at some point in book 6.

Nice story. I could just picture that scene in my mind as I was reading. The conversation was good, not too mushy although I wouldn't have minded if it was, I love fluff! Nice kiss at the end. Good job!
