oh this is sooooo bloody sad! first was he still a wizard? can he still do magic? and then why couldn't you make them be together? hahahah! well i think they will still find their way to each other somehow hehehh.. really! great plot and story.. i love it! more please

ahahaha.. yeah.. i was laughing at myself.. i just stumbled to this story while at work but to my great dismay, it was really the time. i don't have enough to finish this whole chapter so i'm leaving a review to mark it. hahahah! BUT the first few paragraphs i read looked really really promising.. and by the way the review went, the whole story did too.. i'm sooo looking forward to read this at home

I know I must have read this fic before-- probably three years ago when it was written-- but i reread it today even though i'd recognized it. and it made me inexplicably sad! not only because i know i'd read it before but because Hermione and Harry exist without each other and because they will both love each other endlessly.

[and if THAT doesn't make me sound like a sap, I don't know what could..]

i\'ve read and reread this story about 100xs always knowing that the ending hasn\'t changed and yet wishing it had ...and secretly hoping it hasn\'t ...if you get what i mean. not once have i come across anything (in any fathom) as beautiful as this. i hope you don\'t stop writing h/hr by far you know angst like no other and h/hr angst is what i\'m all about.

That's such a bittersweet ending...I hope they'll meet up in the future. I'm very sad that although Harry and Hermione didn't die, you killed off their relationship and memories!! So cruel! But the story was beautifully written. Will you be writing a sequel?

i hate you. and love you. at the same time. it's a horrible dichotomy. cause your story is written & flows like . and you didn't kill harry or hermione. but you did kill h/hr. omg, it's so good. but it makes me want to scream. but it's a good scream. ok, i'm done spouting off nonsense. but wait, i still don't understand how he ended up changing the world like that. i guess i'm ron. i don't understand time travel. and dude, i didn't notice, you ended the story on "scar". mad props.

Oh my gosh that is so sad. I'm choked up. I know you have to let it end this way, but I wish it wouldn't. It's so beautiful. Harry and Hermione are so close yet so far. Maybe they'll meet later in life? Please say they will. Please. Lovely story.

I can hardly believe what I read right now. What a beautiful piece. I read quite a lot of fanfiction, and I never found in any of them the qualities I find in this story.

I have to say I feel let down. I just found this story today and enjoyed it so much. It made me laugh and I couldn't stop reading it. But what a sad ending. I never saw that coming and it kind of killed it for me. It took them so long to finally be together and then they lost it. But it is your story, and you chose to end it like that and I have to respect it.

That was amazing, seriously, I loved every word and every minute I spend reading it, the end was just wow, seriously, I wasn't expecting it. I just wanted to congratulate you, for the amazing story.

I so hate you, but I so love you! I have this weird thing about sad endings, that at first I hate them and want to kill the author, but then the story goes straight to my favs. If I remember correctly there are about five stories, that have made me really cry (and I have to admit, one of them wasn't H/Hr) and all of them are VIS's (Very Important Story)for me. Your "What It Costs To Save The World" is defenitly one of them.

I know, how hard it is to write a good sad ending and I really admire you. Oh and I love the title! You understand the meaning at the really end. It's brilliant! So, good luck on your other works, hope you keep writing.
