I liked how when you had Harry thinking scattered thoughts that he kept coming back to Hermione and realized when he finally reflected about what he had been thinking about, that Hermione was really important to him. I think that this is the most likely way that Harry would realize his feelings for Hermione. He is so busy and has so much stuff to do he doesn't really have time to reflect on himself and also he doesn't have much experience to draw upon because of living with the Dursley's to identify what is going on within him.

I also liked how you have a Hermione reply with a very simple answer, "No" because it really does sum everything up. It really is simple. Hermione won't let anything or anyone, even Harry trying to protect her, keep her from Harry.

Ya know, after reading your response, I realized that I actually haven't read much of what you've written, so have set out to rectify that mistake.

This piece was adorable, especially with Hermione knowing his thoughts before he does. The part where she said he wouldn't recognize love if it kissed him on the nose and then proceeded to do so... :sigh: so sweet!
