That has got to be one of the best angst/romance fics I have ever read. My vision is still blurry from all the tears I cried!
Do you know where I can find more Harry/Hermione angst? It seems to be in short supply these days. ^^

I like fics that don't necessarily have a happy ending- and you did a good job on this one. I LOVED the first line in particular, "The path of insanity is hard to trace with the finger of a vague memory".

Thats just so damn sad. Kinda like, one point in which regretting something you should had said before turns instead to regretting something you should had not said. Very sad.

Ah, it chokes my heart to read about H/Hr like this. I certainly hope it will never end happen like this and gosh, Harry that blind git.

Very good story though. Yeah you are a very talented writer and writes detailed with emotions. Thumbs up for it though...I need fluff now *whimpers*

Wow, this is brilliant. I was getting choked a bit near the middle there I must say. Defenetely a far stretch from Snap, I must say. ;-) Is this a short, or will there be more chapters? I hope there are, but Harry's still married and everything isn't he? Truly brilliant chapter anyway, Hermione was very touching.

Well done! Now I'm all curious.. who is Harry's mysterious wife and why was Hermione so silly as to let Harry slip through her fingers? Awaiting the next chapter in your tale.

Very well done. This is one story that I definitely hope will not come true in the end! I like the way her kiss took her back in time...that was very, very good.

It would be nice to know why Harry was so speechless from that point forward. Did she leave him thinking about what he had missed? Was he truly horrified as it says? He doesn't say one word to her after the kiss...that's very sad.

I hope that you decide to do an epilogue or another chapter from Harry's PoV. There is a lot more story to tell and with your writing style it will make a great read!

Umm, portkey is about Harry and Hermione being together, this doesn't exactly fit that requirement.

I loved this, because it was a different perspective. You tread in dangerous and uncharted territory for H/Hr shippers, the instances where it's not all a happy ending. Beautiful writing, and I personally loved the plot. Not cliched, not contrived, not sappy. Very real, and very perfect.

I´m with ferinswolf, this NOT how a H/Hr story should end, but I got to tell you that you have such a talent for writing that I read it at once, not stopping but hoping they would end up together... so I loved the thing but definitely not the end which it was not only depressing but one sided h/Hr... probably it deserves a second part where we find out where the heck is Harry`s wife (i hope dead or far away) and how he finally gets together with his true love... do I need to say whom that might be? HERMIONE!!!
