ok while i found the story interesting it wasnt very a good plot it sounded alot like it was rushed and ooc for hermiones part. iv read alot, and i mean alot, of these stories where harry and hermione go and eat pumpkin pie in the kitchen and have a whipped cream fight and end up kissing on the ground.maybe its just me but these one-shots where it is completely unblieveable just is a waste of time. while ur was not a waste of time at all be alittle more creative in ur plot and think of something alittle more original! iv read some of ur other stories and have to say i love them! hope im not being to harse keep em' coming! |

It just isn't working for me. Thanksgiving is strictly a American Holiday, although it is celebrated in Canada in October. I personally am American, but mixing a Holiday, based on peole leaving a country for a better life, and celebrating that Holiday in that country left, it hust doesn't work. Did that make any sense, or am I just typing in very random stuff? I'm not much of a literary scholar. |

Thanksgiving? In England? Isn't that americanising the books a little too much? I can accept minor things (such as differences in slang) but having English characters celebrate a wholly American holiday which most would've only heard of though American movies and TV shows, if at all, is a bit much don't you think? Sure I may be going overboard (after all it's just a bit of fun right?) but please! |

though you mixed the culures it's ok...
my history teacher onced said that...the Brits, Americans and the people Down Under are all cousins and they came from one race...so I guess it's ok...
and besides this is the Magical World we are talking about...Nothing is Impossible except coming to life again, that is...
i really like it...it's a sweet little story...
you're very good...

great one shot. just what we all needed on thanksgiving. a little bit o' fluff!! it was very cute. great job. |

well techincally since it is Thanksgiving, a tradition formally made a holiday in the 1860s by Abraham Lincoln celebrating the first year in the Colonies (away from Britian), it is an American Tradition...but I liked this anyway! It was very creative and yay it hinted Draco/Ginny too!!! But I liked how Harry was thankful for hermione, and who doesn't like a whip cream fight? *wink* |

THANKSGIVING IS AN ***AMERICAN*** HOLIDAY!!!! Why the heck would some Brits be celebrating a holiday instituted by a group of their people who gave them the finger, took a ship to America, and later kicked their asses in a war? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!! You can't just slap a foreign holiday on another culture to fit your plot. People who think the rest of the world operates exactly like their own country or *should* are what's wrong with it. Either you don't actually know the history of Thanksgiving or you don't care. I'm not sure which makes me more sad. |

But... they're... British. They don't celebrate Thanksgiving. It's strictly an American holiday the last time I checked. But hey, the plot was nice. |

LoL. Sorry. Saw this from the front page, so I didn't read the description. Good to know that you know it's not really celebrated, haha. But like I said, great story anyway! |

This is a great fic. Just thought that I'd point out, though, that they obviously wouldn't celebrate Thanksgiving in England... |
