Excellent epilogue. I really enjoyed this story and as I have stated before I usually don't like AU, but this one I just love and am sorry to see it end. I will be looking forward to more of your stories |

Finally Finished!!! It was a long way coming but it was worth it all in the end. Everyone was happy...well at least harry and hermione were. On your references to other anime, all i can recall is: the chapter before was taken right out of End Of Evangelion, and the fight with harry and janus showed the use of hand seals and a very powerful attack not unlike the technique that Sasuke uses in Naruto (Chidori otherwise known as the Lightning Edge). Well, those were all I can recall. If there were more, I would be happy to hear from you. Good job!  If you have any other anime crossover fics coming up, I'd like to read them. Well, keep it up!!! |
Author Feedback: Yay! You got most of them! The only other ones I would have included was Janus' white hair -a nod to all anime in general where people seem to have hair of all different colors, and Harry going more or less super sayjin ala DBZ with the Flame of the Phoenix technique. I might be planning a HP project with heavy Naruto and Bleach influence in the future. I'll be sure to give you a heads up if it ever gets written.

Well, it was a rollercoaster all right. I wouldnt call it a Crossover( and I believe that you didnt either, so whatever...)And tough you did based it upon Rurouni Kenshin OVA (the first one) it has this aspects the it were quite original as well. It gave me quite a head ache....to remember the OVA aspects mixed in with the Harry Potter world...anyway...The ending was just as you've said: inconclusive and somehow looks quite similar with The End of Evangelion...I liked, even it confuses the hell out of me...during the narrative Harry was subdued compared to Kenshin (hey, he WAS invincible in that OVA...)and while I do like a Harry not all that powerfull, he seemed a little bit weak to me. And no Voldemort battle or ferret boy ass kicking...and I was awaiting for that....anyway, it was a good piece to read. Your style is good, and its in development, so I hope to see more of your works. See ya. |

Great story!! I think that guy in the bandages is from Rurouni Kenshin but i cant for the life of me remember his name, and he was the big bad guy. Well anyway really great story hope theres a sequel. |

Heehee looks like you have turned the DEs into the Oniwabantsu, but the problem is that Oniwabantsu is loyal and not evil, while I can't say the same for the DEs, at least with the way they do things. Wonder where is the Shinshingumi(sp?).
What I want to know now though, is who is that Shishido, Ron perhaps? Or is it some other guy? But if that is suppose to be Shishido, shouldn't he be still intact until much later?
Just curious though, will you be writing a sequel to this, like in Rurouni Kenshin? The after-war era? |
Author Feedback: IMO, the Shinsengumi might have been loyalists, but they were also survivalists. In the anime, Saito blends back into society as a police officer for the new government (unfortunately his uber awsome captain doesn't -he gets killed somewhere along the line) but the Onibantsu were staunchly loyal to the old sword and samurai ideals. In that sense, I crafted the Death Eaters to be more like the Shinsengumi with a touch of Oniwabantsu. Nice observation, though.
As for Shishio, I kind of stuck him in just to make a reference to the anime. True, he doesn't get burned until near the end of the war, but I wanted him to be recognised in the story, and that would be impossible without his trade mark bandages and katana. That and I needed a katana in the story. Those are awsome.
A sequel...I haven't quite decided on it yet. All my Harry Potter projects are delayed until after Book 6 comes out (only a few more painfully long weeks!) but I might write up something later on. If I do, it won't strictly follow the Kenshin storyline. I was contemplating doing a spin off of the Blade of the Immortal (awsome manga) though sometime.
