like hermioniegranger said I supose you really like birth scenes!! please focus yourdelf in Lily and james!! but please try to change! |
Author Feedback: I made it clear in the summary what this story was. If you don't like what the story is about then don't read it. Some people do appreciate my out of the box thinking in these stories, but I don't intend on writing more stories of this nature. |

do tou want to know what is unclear? EVERYTHING!! i'm sorry but you really stink at this! |
Author Feedback: Well this was one of the stories that was approved in my author application. I even included an explanation of my line of thought before the start of the story. In my replys to reviews I have explained most of the things in the story that made it incomrehensible to some people. The point is that having a baby does not have to be a cold sterile procedure. Just like making a baby it's an act of love. |

Author Feedback: I never expected eveyrone to like it, but I didn't expect to get a bunch of immature people flaming me because they can't respect another person's point of view. |

God-how old are you? no, seriously, cuzthat would explain A LOT. i,m guessing...8, cuz no-one can be older that that and be this cluless. Just thought i'd tell you, that at first i thought it was a spoof it was so stupid. Labor, and thier acting like her head hurts a little or something. A james! what the fuck? "that's wonderfull, do you want something to eat? Let me run the bath, that might help." Seriously, either your 8, or a verry unsocial dude. don't write anymore. And after the birth it's like "o.k. well that's done, lets all go to sleep, now." babys don't get born in water, too. |
Author Feedback: I am here to share not to flame. I am 26 years old, the mother of three, and community leader for a childbirth choices debate board. My story is based on conclusions drawn from things in the books. No where in any of the five books does it give any indication that witches and wizards have anything to do with modern medicine. The book describes what their hospital is like and I see no mention of any sort of Maternity ward. In fact, to the contrary, in the fifth book Molly Weasley is yelling at her husband for having a healer at St. Mungo's hospital try to use stitches to close his wound. In fact she didn't even know what stitches were, and laughed saying it sounded like sewing. In England having a baby at home would not be as unheard of as it is in America. Why would there not be a midwife handling things? For one thing midwives have become a part of modern medicine and are often under direct control of a doctor and under similar strict guidelines for care. For another I see unity in these fictional wizarding marriages that I don't normally see in real life which leads me to believe that the husbands would take care of their wives and not leave it to a stranger and cold monitors. Most people view this modern model of care necessary. The truth of the matter is that birth has and always will be a natural process that will happen whether trained medical personell are there or not. In the United States childbirth is a regulated business and 99% of births occur in the hospital under the strictest supervision and 26% of the time the doctor will cut the woman open and bypass the birth process entirelywhich is more than any other country. Why then do we have more babies die than any other indutrialized country? US infant mortality rates are 21st in the world. What are the 20 highest countries doing that we aren't? They are using far less drugs in childbirth, more births occur at home or in a home-like birth center, and most importantly they don't leave women tied down to a bed and starving during labor. If passing out from low blood sugar is something you've never felt than you wouldn't understand why offering food/drink to a woman in labor is a good idea. Passing out from low blood sugar after the hard work of childbirth is not a pleasant experience I can tell you that from experience. The body needs food to work and an IV can't compensate for that especially one that contains only salt water and possibly drugs. Please see this link if you really think babies aren't born in water. http://waterbirth.org/spa/index.php |

very good story so far it's sometimes hard to follow the dialogue, though.. i can't wait for the next chapter!! please update soon! |
Author Feedback: Thanks LilLamb and Draco and Ginny 1092! This is a one shot and may not have a follow up, but I've written two chapters for a Draco/Ginny story and I will write more Lily/James stories. This is my first story and I had a terrible time getting it to upload. Now at least that problem has been solved. Converting these files from MS works does not perserve formatting so I'll have to see what I can do about rephrasing and spacing dialogue. |
