Hey, You may not remember me but I sent you an email a little while ago saying how this story was such an inspiration for the novel I am writing.

Am having a bit of a writers block/relapse of plot structure at the moment and felt the need to look over your story again.

I ffel the need to remind you that, although based on someone elses characters, this is a wonderfully original idea and that you should consider applying this to a completely original storyline.

Although this story was the origin of my idea, my story has panned out to be completely different. This should be a reminder to all writers that inspiration can come from anywhere as long as you make your art your own (never plagiarise, it is evil!).
