I really, really, really love Neville in this fic, and I love that you've made him and Harry much closer friends than they have been previously. Neville really does need the extra love.

The showdown between Harry and Griphook was great. I love that Harry's finally starting to understand his position and how he can use it to his advantage, so to speak. And I'm really happy that he also seems to be getting better at understanding the different races and how to interact with them. It seems to be going along with him getting better at interacting with people, as is shown with his conversations with Neville and his confrontation with the professors over the Veritaserum. He's learning how to read people and how to stand up for himself, and I am LOVING it.

I absolutely love all the Remus/Harry bonding scenes. I wish JK Rowling had made Remus a more prominent character in the books - I'd hoped that after Sirius died on OotP, Remus would sort of take over as godfather, and we'd get these sort of bonding moments between him and Harry. You seem to be including all the things JK Rowling didn't but should have

I'm looking forward to seeing the DA again, and am interested to see what changes Professor Lupin will bring about.

The conversation between Firenze and Harry really sort of shocked me. It was incredibly deep and showed a point of view on the war that we never really got in canon but is, all the same, incredibly important. I really like that you have made the half-breeds more prominent here.

*cheers* Go, Harry! Oh, that confrontation at the end was PRICELESS. I wonder what the professors will do next to try to figure out Hermione's secret...

I'm still so nervous about Hermione, though. The meeting in Dumbledore's office was actually a bit scary, although I love what happened afterwards - Harry and Hermione skipping class to bask in the sunshine? Ah, bliss.

Okay, now I'm scared. I hope nothing too terrible happened to Hermione...but I have a feeling it did. Now I'm REALLY anxious. You're building up the suspense perfectly, I'm getting shivers with how awesome this fic is.

I'm pretty anxious to see how the Hermione/Blaise partnership will turn out. It's just so Hermione to want to put herself in that position to prove a point. I hope she proves herself right. The issue of Slytherin has always been something that irritated me in canon - JK Rowling made it seem like the entire House was evil (the thing that stands out most in my mind is the fact that no Slytherins stayed for the battle in book seven) and I just can't accept that. I'm with Hermione on this one.

Brilliant. Just...brilliant. Somewhat disturbing, and definitely very upsetting for Harry, but still...as morbid as this may sound, using Sirius's death as protection for Harry seems right, just like Lily's death provided protection. What a brilliant little twist.

Oh, no. Poor Neville. Potions is bound to be interesting, to say the least. And also poor Harry. I understand his motives for wanting to stick with Divination, but really, is it worth all the pain?

I have to admit that the research projects sound kind of exciting! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I think you handled the inevitable Dumbledore/Harry confrontation very well. The atmosphere and emotions seemed more apt than what JK Rowling wrote (well, everything you've written so far seems more apt than the tripe she put in the Half-Baked Plot).

You've got me very intrigued as to what Hermione's up to. I hope it will become clearer soon - it's going to drive me mad!

Oh, I really do love Remus. Even though he deserves the house and money as much as Harry does - and needs them far more than Harry does - he tries to do the right thing by giving it all to Harry. And I think it was good of him to stand up to Harry and refuse to get rid of Kreacher - Harry will have to see, in time, that getting rid of Kreacher isn't the best course of action.

Neville is such a BAMF. I love him so, so much.

Too many fics make out Harry to be all suave and able to spout these lines that would make a woman weaker than Hermione melt in a puddle...and that's just not Harry. He is awkward. He does hesitate. And he often blurts out stupid things. You've captured him perfectly in this fic.

I also have to commend you for your Remus. Looking at things from all sides, wise beyond his years, calm and rational in the face of terrifying teenagers...you've captured him perfectly too. Remus is one of my favorite characters (MWPP fic is my true drug, haha) and I adore you for bringing him into this fic and making his character what it should have been in books six and seven.

I may be offering you a marriage proposal soon - this fic is almost too good to be true!

You are simply dazzling me with this fic. I like the pace of your plot - you're not diving into the war or the romance, but it's not necessarily slow or at all boring either. And the plot itself is amazing thus far - this totally should have been the sixth book, not that Half-Baked Plot trash. I think I shall adopt this fic as my official book six
