I gotta say - not a huge fan of Harry/Hermione. But... considering, I\'m willing to jump on the bandwagon, and HIGH, after reading this. Just the depth into the psychological aspects of it all! I can understand completely why you would want to delve into them. We\'ve all read those Hermione-focused fics with her being ostracized and hated by everyone just because she nagged one too many times & she goes all Darth Vader. It\'s a quick fix for them, where confronting the many emotional aspects of it would tear the essence of their story to shreds.

So I respect you immensely for doing this. Bandwangon? Check!

Realistic? Check.

Heart-wrenching? Check.

An amazing story able to keep you reading frantically, with your mouth hanging open and eyes wide with shock and surprise?

Check. Check. And check!

Oh gosh...that was so beautiful. You captured the H/Hr relationship perfectly. Harry's faith in Hermione despite the odds against her had me in tears.

Definitely going to my favorites, you write with such depth.

That was messy and harsh, but damn if that feel like reality.
The Malfoy men are screwed, Hermione is cleared, despite having the mark, and her relationship with Harry has changed some for the better.

A lot of perspective was in this story.
So deep thoughts and considerations.
The emotions were real enough and usually something I also like avoiding.
You've done Ron's character a real service in here.
I fancy myself a simple guy as well.
But Ron turned simple into something more by courageously shoveling out his thoughts and feelings.
Harry and Hermione still have ways to go with that trust and that little line between them.
Anyway awesome chapter.

I think you did well to show Harry's loyalty and I agree that once he's your friend, it's friends for life.
Hermione had the short stick this round but she will prevail somehow, especially since she's not alone in doing so.

ok! i declare that i have just read the best 'hermione-is-a-possible-traitor' fic ever! wow! i don't have words to describe that! and the plot was awesome! the only thing i could ask for was that i was a bit disappointed that there was no kiss at the end. but the rest of the story more than made up for it!

I read this story long, long ago. One of the first fics I ever read. And I never could find it after that one time. I'm so glad I finally did.

The last chapter, the last part of the last chapter gets me in tears. It's so BEAUTIFUL. Ron doing Potion is just the perfect way. And Harry...good god.

i'd decided that this one was going to be one of my favourites by the time i finished the first chapter. what made me to decide this one is the best is just a few lines above as i write this now.

that deduction, what made harry go further... i have to admit i was afraid i would read the word 'love' in the next line. that would be quite sappy and a frighteningly easy way out. imagine me surprise then when i did read the next line. and what a good surprise that was! and how true that is. that last part is like a summary of all the things we "delusionals" believe in.

i'm out of words. thank you for this spectacular work.

I loved how you decided to explore the nature of trust in this story. It's hard to imagine Harry or Hermione making grand speeches to declare their love for the other, but showing it through action was spot on.

Damn this is a good story. One of the all-time best short stories I've ever read. I keep coming back occasionally to re-read it (and bore you with another review).

I dare you to write something better. Come on, I dare you!

So many levels of back-and-forwards in this deconstruction of the friendship and love between the Trio. It's all very, very moving. I love stories that can make me think and feel this way.

I just found your story and wanted to let you know that I thought it was great! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was well written, and since I've not actually come across any other fics with Hermione being the one accused of being a traitor (I'm still relatively new to reading HP fics) it was different than anything I've read.
