That was an awsome endding! I mean, Snape actualy gave a genuine smile! Hey, who knew? It was a really touching story. Luv it!

I'm impressed with this chapter from Hermione's point of view as well. Even though I knew he had good intentions (or at least not totally evil ones), I was thinking about Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad wolf as Snape was walking through the forest with Hermione. She was too trusting.

Snape's conversation with Voldemort before Harry arrived proved his acting talents. I don't blame Hermione for resolving never to trust him again. I couldn't.

Finally, I was impressed with the ammount of research you put into this. Not just for the Dimity thing; the poem as well. Even though it's related. (And I don't think the hippogriff thing is a coincidence, but what do I know?)

Even though I'd already read the first part, I was still on the edge of my seat.

Ron's point of view really added something to it. Before, I couldn't imagine how it must have felt for him to have to decapitate Harry, but now I can.

Also, his instant jealousy and then gradual acceptance of Harry and Hermione's love for each other was well done. Nice additional detail that he'd asked Hermione out and she'd turned him down. I'm also glad he's resolving to love again. I'd say more, but I want to read Hermione's POV.

You did write it well, but I have some theories that contradict you. JKR did say multiple times that the relationship between Harry and Hermione is entirely platonic. And regarding the bit about Voldemort dying with Harry, why wasn't Harry reduced to near nothingness when that happened to Voldemort in the beginning? But have you noticed that if Pettigrew was indebted to Harry and Voldemort used Pettigrew's arm to give him his form, Voldemort should also be indebted to Harry? Dumbledore said magical properties could be passed on through blood, and this would also explain that ambiguous 'twinkle in his eye' in book four.
About the significance of Neville, I possess a sneaky suspicion that later on, Neville will get what he needs to also have the prophecy apply to him as well as Harry. Then, in the final battle, it would turn out that Neville was the actual person to defeat Voldemort. Harry might die fighting and be with his parents (this would make for a sweet ending). That last idea is also supported by the fact that JKR said the 'mirror of Erised' chapter hints a lot at future books - which means that Ron will become Head Boy and Quidditch Captain too.

Ah, yes... The many mythological clues to Pumpkin Pie... *sigh* Gotta love it. Well, I was just waiting for this chapter and now that's it come, I must say that I am completely satisfied. I liked seeing all three of the characters points of view. I haven't seen it done very often (I do it, but not as well as you) and I always enjoy something new. I'll definitely have to go read the rest of your fics. Keep writing. I eagerly await more from you.
