why don't you go back and start your story in a different chapter, that way you could add more stuff to it. your right tho, its really hard to write this story when they are soo young, it would be alot easier to write the story when they are older, also that way they can do more together and it wouldn't seem so wrong .
ne ways i wish you luck with this story and i hope that you come up with more ideas.
