Oh wow...this was a very moving story--I had to cry at the end, one would have to be a very cruel person if they didn't. You did a good job of making clear of which point of view it was without being too over the top. Once again, good job! |

It was a bit confusing, but I thought the PoV switches were great. It added a sense of surrounding, you saw things from both their eyes as the events happened. I thought it was great, but the ending was sad. Great job with the drama though, the reactions seemed like things they would do. You have a great understanding of the characters. Simply Fantastic! |

Maybe you should add when you change POV... But otherwise it was pretty clear... And I loved it...
Maybe you could have written a more "joyous" end... but again... it's your story... |

No, it made sense. And it was so sad. I've read something similar (not too closely - just the idea that they would have to give each other up in order to defeat Voldemort) to this in a brilliant fic by Little Witch - the premise is enough to make you cry. For both of them. You did a great job! |
Author Feedback: I've read Little Witch's fic- Forever A Secret- and when I did read it I laughed to myself cause I've pretty much had this idea in my head since I started to write 'shipper' fics, which was about 3 years ago now. It's been fading in and out and Forever A Secret brought it back. |

As a snapshot vignette it is well written; there is enough detail to explain the story and most of the continuity. As to the actual outcome, I dislike catastrophic endings on general principles, but that's just me. I read fanfics to lift my spirits, not depress me further. Life has enough crap in it without having what we read piling more on top of us. So, top marks for writing, style, and execution, zero marks for the content...  |
Author Feedback: The ending was originally happy, in my mind that was. However when it came to actually writing the ending, a happy ending didn't fit in with the tone of the story.
But thank you for your completly honesty- reviews like yours are the sort I like, the ones that tell me exactly what they thought. |
