Had to read this, as I love "The Sound of A Kiss". And I'm just as delighted as I was yesterday, reading TSoAK. And equally exhausted.

Your writing is incredibly powerful, creating so intense emotions that I thought I just might burst. And all that with no complex plot, full of angst. Just the two of them. And a kiss. And what's going on behind the unspoken words. Awesome.
You know, when I finally got to their post-kiss conversation, I just couldn't stop thinking -'OMG, Hermione, please, don't do it, don't think too much, don't over-analyze, just tell him and let it happen'. Of course, it'd ruin the whole plot

but well, indeed 'he had just offered her everything she'd ever wanted on a silver platter'... *sighs* They're the complicated lot, those two... And I suposse it's one of the reasons we all love them so much.

You've done a great job here, simplifying nothing. Showing clearly how much it takes to understand each other. And I love it that they're still so very canon. And so is Ron, even though he's just in the background.
'My' lines again. And again I'm not sure, why exactly those.
'He looked at her, his eyes bright, almost feverish. After a few seconds, a shaky half-smile tugged briefly at the corner of his mouth, then faded. "And you're supposed to be the smart one,” he said teasingly, his voice not quite steady.'
'He still appeared slightly shell-shocked, but now there was a look in his eyes that made her feel as though someone had reached into her chest and squeezed her heart. '
You've definitely become one of my favourite Authors.
Take care!
