A good start, so far. My only complaint is the proliferance of dashes (as in " - " ) that seem to be spread amongst your text. I'm a bit picky, I suppose, but so many dashes really interrupt the flow of the sentences and make dialogue, at times, turn out to be a grand collection of fragments.
That said, as other reviewers have noted, it IS a different take to the start of a Harry and Hermione romance, and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the end. |

I have a habit of showing both the sides of the story- like the next chapter is going to be all about Harry and whats going on in his life. Please, by all means, continue. However, Crookshanks is a HE. Use a word processor with grammer and spell checkers. Different twist to the HP dating scene. Good start. |

I love it so far. The beginning reminded me a little bit of Bridget Jones's Diary. i love that concept! oh oh oh, PLEASE tell me that Harry is hermiones person to date so they can make many little baby potters.
