Great start. I can't wait to read the next chapter and I like the underlying sadness in Hermione even though she seems so calm. I could just clearly picture Hermione touching Harry's hair. Awfully sweet but achingly sad as well.

Continue as far as you can. As you wrote take one step at a time. It's going relly well though.

Hermiones being brave for harrys sake-very subconcious and lovely...its freakish how you write so full with ...what can you call it-emotion. You almost made me cry!! Teary eyed writing this I say, if you know what I mean!!!

Very sort of Hermione-caring-more-about-harry-than-a-friend sort of chapter. Its okay right now...I hope it does get a bit more interesting later. Well done so far and I hope I'll be seeing more of cute cuddly romance!!

Actually... part of the intrigue of fan fiction is giving our own twist on things... you may not want to wander into book 6 territory but it would surely dampen a wonderful story you have started... I would be happy to read your take on what you THINK may happen in the future...

I vote that you keep going with this... if after you have written it the story is less then canon thanks to book 6... oh well... just write the best story you can and don't worry about the future... many of us have written stories that got trampled due to the untimely death of our favorite Marauder... it can't be helped... personally I believe ALL fan fiction is AU anyway...

Hmm... First of all, I really like what you have written so far. It has been very good and I could see this having been in the real books. As for where to go with it, that is a decision you will have to make. You could wrap it up soon, which I would understand, sometimes a story just has to be done. Or you could continue it, which would be great because this is an excellent story. THe only advice I can think of is just write, and just see where the story takes you. No matter what you decide I'm sure it will be great! Good luck.
