Very interesting opening chapter. I have a hard time reading any R/Hr at all (given that I think it's impossible for that to be a happy relationship, in canon), but I put that aside because I think your writing is very good and always entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing what goes on in this HP world. It sounds exciting and angsty and it seems like you have quite a tale to spin in order to get to a fulfilling H/Hr. I'm in. Looking forward to Chapter 2.

Oooh, what a deliciously angsty start. Leaves so many questions that I can only hope you answer soon... though this premise leaves you the chance to draw it out.

While I'm sad you had to kill Ron (no, I'm not angry, I've done it, too), I like the idea of Harry and Hermione being the underdogs fighting against the dark tide that has overtaken the wizarding world. The rebels, as they've always been.

Can't wait for chapter 2.
