Nice one, a good explaination on why Hermione didn't twig to Lockheart being a fake in JKR's book. Though Hermione reacting to a handsome older teacher would still be possible. Which when she found out that Lockheart was fake would be quite galling as she herself strives to seen for what she really is and not superficial surfaces.

Ooooh. Lockhart obliviated her memory. And looks like he went a bit too far. Grrr. Stupid prat. Glad he gets his at the end of the book.

Great additional chapter to the second book. So how do you know what a girl's slumber party is like? I defintly like the second book better than the first, but I wonder how you're going to pull off the part when Hermione's "petrified" for the last part. And I also can't wait till you get to the part where she figures out what the creature is and how she saved Percy's girlfriend! lol, I guess I'm all tingly with antisipation for the rest of your fic!
