This is rather intriguing; two chapters which seem to be the same (or at least, the start and end are the same  ) but anyway ...
There is something ... *different* about this story. Something which is unique and striking, something that draws you in and makes you wonder ... realize that you know the answers but couldn't be sure ... so many things left unsaid but for which one's mind starts to provide possibilities and answers ...
And yet, beneath it all, is that sense of *wonder.*
There is a sense of voyeurism, of feeling like a Peeping Tom as one walks through the myriad of emotions that Harry goes through -- and senses also the tangle of feelings that Hermione carries within her. And yet, as one watches them through the various stages of interaction ... one cannot help but feel ... honored, perhaps, is the best way to describe it.
There is a sense of being allowed a peek into a private world, of being allowed a chance to see the thoughts and feelings and emotions of each other -- and, surprisingly, even though there seems to be so many things left unsaid or unanswered ... there is the sense of *not needing* to hear about it, see it or even feel it.
It is enough to have been there and know what they are going through; to be there in spirit (as it were) and *emphatize* with what they go through.
And for this ...
:sigh:
A most lovely work.
