No!! No!! That was such a beautiful fic, I love your writing (and WISH you would update To Wed the Enemy, already!) and this fic really kind of squeezed at my heart. That sounds mega-cheesy; sorry. But it was so beautiful. I just hope that the ending doesn't mean that Draco is going to turn back to his father, because that would ruin everything.
Oh, how well you described their emotions. I still feel Draco's pain in having lost his 'light.' You carried that analogy very far and it worked really well, especially in the way you said Draco shone in her reflected light. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

oh god, oh god, oh god. tears are streaming down my face as i write this. jesus, how completely sad. god, it's depressing, but you write so beautifully i'm almost crying as much for that fact as for the actual events in the story. wow, magnificent, beautiful, wonderful, amazing, take your pick of these adjectives for together they only form a mere shadow of the true words needed to capture the beauty of your words and talent.
