I absolutely love this song, so naturally when i saw the title i was drawn to your story, and had to play my CD while i read ...i enjoyed your portrayal of harry and hermione and how the scene worked so well with the song which is such a deep song, really.... i listen to this CD every night because the music is so beautiful from the movies(im a big LOTR fan also... ispired to read the books by the movies, but i've come to enjoy the books better actually..) anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts on your piece, and say that i loved it!

Okay the title makes absolutely no sense. Aside from the title having almost totally no relevancy to the story you do realize that the metaphor of going "into the west" used in the lotr stories is almost an anti-thesis to death.

I absolutely love this song and with your words this is one of my favorite stories. It was so sad yet moving and beautiful. I enjoyed reading this because it was different from all the other stories where Harry dies. Thank you for writing this. Brilliant work.
