This was a wonderful story! I stumbled upon your works recently and have started reading some of you older stories. This one was very well done. I really liked that Hermione left in order to give Harry and opportunity to find himself. She was taking a chance, but it's true that until he resolved his own issues any relationship they had would have been on an unstable foundation.

This is the first really believable "Hermione leaving" story that I have come across. She didn't just disappear out of their lives, but was far enough away to both let him find his own path, but still keep in touch and provide some support.

You have a wonderful sense of the characters and I really appreciate how you can write an emotional story that is dramatic and riveting, yet is also sweet and comfortable without going overboard on the angst.

Thanks for sharing these great stories- I'm going to move on and check out your other fics. If they are anywhere near as good as this then I'm in for a great time.

It was a wonderful story from the beginning to the end. Fluffy and tear jerking at moments but definitely H/Hr to the end.

I assume Joey's last name is Potter. I, like Harry and Ron, have never seen an episode of Dawson's Creek, so I wouldn't know. I love how you said the main idea of watching Dawson's Creek is actually the talking they get to do. It's the same with most Chick Flik type movies and shows.

I love the idea that Harry's buying the Three Broomsticks. They have so many memories there from their Hogwarts days, and most are happy. This has to turn out well.

Okay, I was completely wrong. I thought Harry was going to become an Auror, and he actually quit his job as an Auror. I think it's great that Lavender opened a clothing store. It definitely suits the antics of her school years. It also suits her personality.

Now I'm curious about her decision and his secret. I'm guessing, on absolutely no base, that Harry has decided to become an Auror, and that Hermione is done travelling for her job. As I said, I have absolutely no basis for these assumptions, but I assume, all the same.

Of all the things to first hear of Hermione doing, she just came out of a jungle. It seems she has really changed since he first year at Hogwarts. I imagine it was for research, but she seems to have really loosened up. I wonder where this is going?

Another fabulous story. I love how you had Harry find his own way without Hermione. That was very clever and very intuitive. You have a very good grasp of the nature of these characters. Great job!

That chapter fit in very nicely with the constant references to their deaths in the previuos chapter. I was crying through the entire story. Only problem is that I still don't think that Hermione could have used the Cruciatus as it still would have been righteous anger and I honestly don't think that Harry could have used Avada Kedavra, I'm not sure that he could hate that much.

That's absolutely wonderful that Hermione is taking over a teaching position, though I would have expected her as Transfiguration professor before anything else.

OK, well, sorry I haven't reviewed in the earlier chapters, but I had to say something at this one because I found it so sweet and poingant to read. At least the two of them have some ideas of their feelings for one another. I think that its a great idea to buy the pub.
