Well, I never got to read Goodbye (*grumbles*) but I loved this! The environment was perfect for the emotions and the feelings, I really liked the whole rain - lake part. And Hermione's words, they are so true.

As much as I'm glad you brought this back, I still want Goodbye back. I'm a greedy little sod.

Anyway, this is wonderful too, I like how Hermione is explaining to Harry that while he may not forget, he will learn to live with his memories. It's something he needs to learn. And not all memories are bad.

Also, even in angst, you are obsessed with Harry's arse! I must confess, at the line “Aren’t you going to come?” I had a similar reaction to Harry, though I doubt it was for the same reasons, or was it, Sis?
