hmmm didnt mind it at all...very cute...a little too cliche at some points, ("thank you" hey james, "what?", thank you) and such. Not too shabby.

The attention you put into little details really made this fic for me - the handkerchiefs from his grandma were a nice touch.

The books as well - Oliver Twist and Wuthering Heights - both about orphans struggling against the odds...

I liked how clever Lily came across and how James' behaviour was a mixture of trying to show off, and wanting to look after her.
