Good story based on that song. It develops the situation nicely and then shows a gentle resolution to the whole situation. *chuckle* I would imagine Harry has the clout to get 'most anything he -really- wants, esp. since, knowing him, he normally wouldn't call in any markers just for himself.

The speech she gives at the end was quite appropo and moving.

Good story though a few things don't add up. Hermione didn't seem really surprised nor hesitant about letting Harry back into her life so soon after her husband Draco dies. The fact that she got together with Draco and had a daughter with him could be viewed as a mistake (Although judging from his implied character, he didn't change at all so it is a very odd mistake), surely she couldn't have been afraid that he would track them down if they left (Not to mention there are... other ways to deal with abuse) so I can only wonder she allowed herself to be beaten, her daughter to be abused (And god knows what else) when she has the opportunity to get out. It seems like a very simple question, but it is one that the basis on your story would rest on.

who was Lily's dad? I thought it was great that there was an element of unknown throughout the story. This is fantastically written.

This was a beautifully written story. It contained all the things that touch readers hearts and it was amazing. I've liked this song since i was a little girl myself and i've read a few fictions about this song, but none like this. I cried. Having someone like that in your life that saves you and changes your nightmares into dreams is like having rain in the desert, very much needed. I just wanted to say this story touched me in my heart and i believe you did a really marvelous!

Very touching story. I wonder who the abusive father was? Well, I would never have expected the two to get together this ways, but it all came out good in the end. The head girl speech was magnificent. Did you write it yourself. If so, then kudos to you! Wonderful story, but I would have to say I didn't like the abusing father one bit, but then again...who does? Good all around keep it up.
