I like the way you got into two 17 year-olds' mind! The scene was cute, not perfectly romantic, with the clumsiness that two inexperienced teens could have in such situation... I liked the way you wrote the lollipop licking, just hints of what was in Harry's mind but nothing explicit! And the end was great too, no cliche heart skipping declarations of love, just simply Harry and Hermione moving onto their next friendship stage!

Hmmm...Liked it very much. But boys do not "giggle" -- not very much, anyway...I'm sorry, maybe it's just a complex, but everytime I see that word used to describe a guy once, let alone several times it reminds me of a girl, and that's not exactly the image I want to get when I'm imagining someone snogging Hermione, lol...
Once is fine, I guess, if you really must use it...But please, no more than that. Or I'LL start giggling.

Love the high tension in this story. I found myself holding my breath at times and feeling nervous for both of them but the payoff was great! Wonderful writing of a sweet coming-of-age moment for Harry and Hermione.  |
