Ahhhh, sweetheart ... I can't believe that I walked away from reading this with a smile.
Well, actually ... as someone who met me while I was going to the john said, I wasn't *smiling* -- I was actually *snarling.*
I can always trust you to push the angst meter to its limits -- and go beyond.
I find it hard not to be sympathetic to Ron ... A-hole he may be (no, A-hole that he *is*), I cannot but feel that no one deserves to go through what he just did. To *believe* that Hermione would be taking his side for once, only to have the rug pulled out from under him ... to realize that, as you said, "This was the *moment*. It was the *moment* he knew that there would forever be only two, Harry and Hermione and no room for Ron."
There will still be the blind, fanatical Ron-lovers out there who will probably be pelting you with rotten tomatoes (to say nothing of wishing to rain bubotuber pus on you

) ... and yet, as I said, one cannot help but feel sympathy for the prat.
I truly pity him.
And *that*, ebil person, is something that I never thought I would feel, really *feel* for him.
Truly wonderful, sweet ... it would seem that we should wish for more bouts of flu for you, if we are to see more of this from you.
Just joking, of course.
Keep up the wonderful work!
