cute story. I liked that you had Sirius speak with Ron about how it feels to have your best friend fall in love and worry over being the odd one out.

i read this story on fanfic.net and when i found it here i just had to read it again and add it to my favorites...i noticed the sequel hasn't been updated in over a year so i'm assuming it's abandoned that kind of stinks...but this story is good where it ended so thanks for writing it and sharing it with us

Yay! A sequel! :0 A suggestion if I may, I think the "final battle" sequence would have gone better if Hermione had slowly been weakened because Harry and Hermione were taking so long to solve the third key. It just seemed a bit abrupt to me. *shrug*

Hmm.. well. I'm glad that the keys to the ring aren't that precise - I think. Am I correct in assuming that the second key was fidelity? If it is, then loyalty is an acceptable synonym.

Oh,. I was going to comment on how accepting Harry and Hermione seemed about the kissing last chapter, but you kind of explained it here.

That was a very beautifully written first chapter, particularly the description of the snow scene!

This was absolutely wonderful.I loved that Sirius was alive and Harry got to live with him.
