Not a bad story. I used to love 24. I haven't watched it in a while but that was because I missed some episodes and got lost. I was forced to stop. I hope to maybe catch up again someday. I just started reading this the other day. I also read Tapestry after I found it. I hope you continue this story soon.

One thing you should have included in this chapter is the proceedings from the government meeting - they're essentially clueless, as everything is in the hands of the intelligence on both sides...

Consider a briefing by Barnes to Spragg and the PM on the matter next chapter...

I see the tide is gradually turning. The Baron's fear was Harry and Hermione getting together, and that's the crux you were banking on to turn the fortunes on Harry and co...

Very skillfully done.

I do like your parallel with von Richofen... amazing, but not infallible.

I want to say thanks for continuing to post on Portkey. I am enjoying the story immensely and look forward to the continuation of the story.
Author Feedback: I have decided to post the whole thing here regardless of how many people read it. It feels wrong writing fan ficiton and not posting here. I'm glad you're enjoying it and I hope you stick with it. Trust me, its going to be great, even if it is epic

I am a huge fan of Tapestry you know("...never apart, remember?" ), I'll definitely read this one once I have time, but I do hope Hermione is involved in it as well! Huge fan of 24 too, watched all 6 seasons, starting on 7
Author Feedback: Anyone who is a huge fan of Tapestry and 24 gets my vote for whatever u want! By chapter 8 of this yarn I dont think Harry and Hermione are parted (at least i havent plotted any parts where they are). I'm trying to use alchemy (thought no ones picked it up at all) and once they are together - to quote my own line - never apart. Hope you nip over to ff net and read the rest. Its going to be great, i promise

i missed the part we harry and hermione knew about lunas involvement then you had that in this chapter where was it?
Author Feedback: It was done off-page, so to speak. I'm conscious of repeating the same plot aspects over and over to different characters so I had H/hr's exchange with the Baron take place off-page and then reveal what they learned as they discuss their own plans.

I will certainly follow this one - I've really enjoyed it, and its style. It may be a bit complex for some readers more used to fluff or stories that they don't have to remember as much to follow. I bet a lot of the same people turned off by it in episodic form here would love it if they could read it as a complete story in 1 or 2 sittings.

It probably has more to do with your pacing than anything else. You\'re writing a long slowly updated story on a Harry/Hermione website in which those two characters don\'t appear for quite some time. If I were to come it to itblind I\'d probably think Agent Scott and Draco Malfoy were the main characters initially.

It\'s perfectly fine to write in your favored style and ignore audience expectations-lots of good stories are written that way-but you probably can\'t do that and get lots of readers. Ultimately you have to decide which one you really want.
Author Feedback: I find that review a little...harsh. I personally dont consider a week between chapter posts 'slow updates' especially when considering the size of each chapter (the last two have been 12'000+ words long, or about 25 pages on a standard word processor). This is probably one of the reasons for the lack of interest, its simply too long. Patience is in short supply but the genesis of my plotting and writing process creates chapters this big. Ultimately this structure is probably better suited to a visual medium, but i thought itd be fun to try anyway

I love your story...too bad really, since I've always related PK to HHr shippers...anyways, I'll look for this story on fanfiction.net. I read stories from there, too but really, it is too bad that you're leaving

see you in ff!!!!
Author Feedback: What can I say? i write to be read and if my stories arent being read here there seems little point posting anymore.

There are enough plot lines in this fic for 5 separate stories, but you weave them together very well. Really glad to see you changed the status =)

If I wasn't such a lazy SOB, I would be on the edge of my seat reading this story. As it is, the adrenaline is pumping with every sentence, which is probably why I'm still awake at this ungodly hour. Great fic!!! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Wow! Awesome story so far!
I really love how you interconnect all the plots together. I can't wait to see what it'll look like when we'll have the whole picture to look at.
24 is a wicked show and you put the elements of it really well in the story. Anyway, update soon I can't wait to see what happens next.

There was a lot going on iin this chapter, but my attnetion was really taken in by what transpired between Harry, Ginny, et.al. Harry's novel approach to getting the info out of Ginny shows that he has developed a better understanding of people that when he was just a courageous teen. I was shocked by how callous and indifferneet Ginny was to the suffering of those she supposedly loved. Aside from having Hermione killed, did she give any thougth to the anguish that would cause Ron's kids, or to the other members of her family?

Her role in this surprised me because I guess I was picturing the Ginny/Harry relationship from Tapestry, in which Ginny was a loving and faithful wife; though not the person Harry wished he was with. I'm glad she's losked up, but I do feel bad for the kids. James seems old enough (and smitten enough with Cel) to be able to handle the situation as well as can be expected. However, I suspect Albus and Lily will have a difficult time dealing; especially since Albus is already looking to lay blame on Hermione rather than his mother.

I've never seen an episode 24 so I can't anticipate how this will work out, but I certainly can't wait to find out.

Keep up the great work, it's truly appreciated. Thanks so much for posting this here. I know you had your doubts, but for those of us who are into this story it's genuinely appreciated. Thanks.

Amazing chapter. Jumping between two settings definitely helps with consistency showing the depth of the plot...you do it well.

Looking forward to the next chapter!
