Excellent fic. I think it would be great to go back to that, as you said, "nice, innocent time right after OotP came out and before the disaster that was HBP". I'm tired of fics trying to un-make the mess created by HBP and DH, I just wish everyone would write their own take on what should've happened after OOTP, just like you (and many others, though not as many as I'd wish) did. Awesome, wonderful story. Why didn't JKR stick you in charge of the romance parts of the books? Seriously, though, this is a really great depiction of Harry's thoughts. I loved the way you got Hermione to help him through at least the worst of his guilt about Sirius, and the tentative beginnings of romance were so beautifully written. I really really enjoyed reading this.

This is the way we all know how it was suppose to happen. The endearing way they kissed each other, finally letting the true feelings show, and feel , That letting them feel this was truely their own, and at this time they were happy,and this happiness will see them to the end

Aww, what a cute story. I loved it. I really liked the way in which Harry realized that Hermione is the most important person to him. And the way he knew, deep down, that Hermione would completely refuse to live his side.
It was pretty good, and so, so innocent.

Of course that's how it shouldhave gone if JKR had any sense! A nice little something, very believable. AND even better you don't have them plunge into mindless sex right away. With a girl like Hermione, these things take time - as well as with true love in general. And we know it's true love, whatever JKR might have thought....
