Another great chapter here. What you have done with the Weasley is simply amazing. You could have easily made Ron the bad guy here but instead you went another way. It was nobody's fault. Things just happened and you realize do just don't feel the same way about that person. I am so glad that everyone is so likeable. It is funny how Luna was like, 'Oh, you are still with her?' That is what all of us were thinking when reading canon. We saw what everyone else saw at Hogwarts saw. Though Anvils are extremely small in our Harmony tinted glasses.

You can still tell that Harry wants to put all of the blame on Ron. Hermione is never wrong in Harry's eyes. Very much like the first time I read this chapter, I am starting to feel bad for Ginny already. Your characterization of her is just perfect. If only JKR had done this, I would not have minded her so much. Great chapter once again. Glad things are going well at home.

Wow, well that's new! Harry being able to fly all by himself! I'll be interested to read the explanation for that. You've created quite the villain in Annice Nott; she's like a hybrid of Voldemort and Bellatrix (and there's a nasty thought if I've ever heard one). Enjoying this very much; can't wait to read more.

Hi JanieB, it has been a long time since we heard from you. I am going to assume that things are well since you are starting to write again. Two chapters in a span of a month!! Like I said before, it has been a long time. So long that I don't even remember what is going on anymore so I decided to start from the beginning and re-read your entire story.

As I probably said the first time I reviewed this chapter, it is a great start. The creepy beginning of the river of darkness and the re-awakening of the Dark One. I had completely forgotten Harry's dream of that same re-awakening. Quite scary that this is happening at the time that Ginny is worried about a spell to re-do her hair and Harry is tickling Hermione's feet. Very ominous and forshadowing of the things to come.

Since I do kind of remember the important parts of future chapters, I now notice all of the little sutle things you added during Harry's date with Ginny. The looks he gave her, how it was always Ron's fault, and his saving Hermione thing. You also see that Ginny does notice these things but she has no idea what they are about. Very well done...

And once again, the tone of the whole story. Kind of like the calm before the storm. Everything is so peaceful and carefree. I especially like what you have done with Ginny's character. I confess that I hate Canon Ginny with a passion. Your story is truly the first and only story where I feel sorry that Ginny is going to lose Harry. Wow, I can't believe how much I have missed this story. I am so glad that you have returned. Looking forward to finally reading the new chapters..

Again another amazing chapter! another great fight inside the walls of HOGWARTS!. so who is the trader amungst them??..I can't wait to find out who the undercover Auror D is??

My dear Janie, I think you have outdone yourself! Truly!
This was a heart-stopper of a chapter!
First, there was the chilling setup of Annice's planned attempt on Harry's (and everyone else's) life at Hogwarts. The anticipation as we "watch" the Good Guys gather, knowing an attack is on its way is like sitting next to a powder keg - then the patronus wolf's entrance lights the fuse! With the lynx's arrival, the keg explodes and all hell breaks loose, and then...
'I have everything to live for.'
* dies!*
If that wasn't a Star Wars-like epic romantic moment in an epic story, then I don't know what is!
The battle was brilliantly done - perfect pacing, and seamless point of view changes, and great surprises: Harry apparates, then flies! I think the explanation of flying being a leftover from Voldemort makes sense, and is very plausible. I can't wait to hear how Harry apparated!
I really think this is your best yet, Janie! The tension, the love, the battle, the rage, the relief... * takes deep breath *
Simply, amazing.

I'm finally getting to review. I really love this story and have really missed it while you've not been able to work on it. I can definitely say, though, that the wait was more than worth it. The interplay between the characters is just as well thought out and wonderfully written as always. The only thing I saw that I thought odd was the reference to Cynric being the earliest "descendent" of the Riley family. In my puny brain, I think he would be the earliest "ancestor" of the family, wouldn't he? Hm..

The "summary" from Hermione was splendid, and was really true to her character (but then, that's nothing new for you, my dear..). Can't wait to read the next section!

Wow its so cool to be visting the "Nook" again!....Sorry for the interuption. Oh wait I guess you couldn't know that, you see My friend just called about another Trublood dinner party a friend of ours is having. Should be fun, sort of a warm up for Halloween. I forgot, do you have that show there? Watch it? It stars Anna Paquine[?] who I think lived in Oz for a while or something, keep meaning to look that up.

Anyway I was talking about Nook. Whenever someone hasn't been able to post for a while, I always wish they would do a quick recap because its hard to remeber what has happened.And you gave us one and worked into the story! And in Hermione's own words, so score! Very clever of you. Like I said earlier, I liked the darkness of the new interlude, those are all very well done.
The H/Hr interactions were of course great. Can't wait to see what are in the memories. I liked the charm that wouldn't allow any signer to talk about the contents, though if they were captured that would make it so much worst on them!

It has been rough seeing my mom, though I tried to accept it as quickly as possible and just get on with it. It was sad, she didn't really get anything out of the one time I took her used bookshopping, which used to be our favorite thing to do together. She has seemed to enjoyed my visit so that really is the important thing.

Well its getting late again and I have a lomg drive back home tomorrow so I should probable go.

Wow! I've only just discovered this story, and I've been reading it on and off all day. It's FANTASTIC. Can't wait to read more - and I love all of the connections you've made between Ron and Luna, Ginny and Dean, Dean's family, etc. It's been refreshingly complex and interesting, and it will be great fun to see how it plays out.

Just quickly as I am so very y and I have to wake up early to visit my Mum. Not looking forward to the 5 1/2 hour drive and this is the first visit in awhile so I think it will be hard to deal with how advanced her Alzheimer has gotten. It will be good to see her again though, and I should have time to read and write more.
I did read the interlude briefly, very dark, interesting where its headed.
