I love it! This was greatly written and I loved Sirius' involvement. I like the observations made by others of their relationship, and this was no exception.

Good job!

I really liked your story. Sirius is awesome even from beyond the grave. Like Padfoot and Harry, I was totally in denial about leaving school. But I managed not to cling to any stairways.

These bits made me laugh:
"Screw Auror training."
"Hopefully, by now you know what I'm talking about. And if you don't and I was there, I'd give you a swift kick in the arse."
"If it has taken you this long to realise it, go to her immediately and apologise for being an absolute git."
"Bugger all!" -> That one the most, lol.

And this bit actually made me cry:
"She glared at him for a moment, but Harry could tell that her anger was ebbing away. She wiped at her eyes, sniffled. “Did… did you hear…?” she asked tentatively.
“Yes,” he said, his voice quiet, his eyes firmly on hers.
“Godric,” she whispered, covering her face with her hands. “Oh, good Godric…”
He watched her silently, not knowing what to do or say, until he saw her shoulders shaking with a fresh wave of tears. Immediately, he went to her and took her into his arms. He could think of nothing but how she felt in his arms. It was confusing, really. His heart skipped another beat and he found it rather difficult to breathe. Hermione never had this effect on him… Well, not when she wasn't in danger, that is."

Great story, it's the third one I read and they're getting better and better! Just a few more of these stories and you'll make me a fanatic H/Hr shipper, lol.

Interesting take on how Harry and Hermione got together. Sirius gives a little help from an early grave, eh? Very nicely done.

I enjoyed this story tremendously! You managed to articulate the qualities that make Harry and Hermione's relationship a "keeper." This quote from Sirius' letter sums it up: "I want you to have what I never had, what your parents shared. They were best friends, maybe not at first, but eventually. They could practically read each others' minds, they saved each others' lives, and they loved each other more than anything. They were partners, lovers, husband and wife."

Well, okay, obviously not lovers or husband/wife, but eventually, right?
