I was just wandering here in Portkey when I tumbled into one of your stories because of Bingblot saying your Writer's Block inspired her to write one of her fics. But I think this fic is way more beautiful, more awe-inspiring.
I also want to ask your permission to use your paragraph that starts with "I knew I had learned an invaluable lesson for life...". My youngest brother is getting married in October and is looking for a beautiful quote in his wedding invite.

I don't like original characters, but I like your use of Dame Rivers as narrator.

I don't like 'children' fics, but I think you used Catriona and Elise perfectly. We know their parents love them, but more, we know that Harry and Hermione never lost themselves and their relationship.

You used the music and the dance and that line, 'You're a great wizard, Harry' in the most lovely way.

wowsers.......just realized I need to start leaving reviews. This is a WONDERFUL memory to have of Hermione and Harry. I love it when I can read a story and feel the emotions of the characters as it flows along. Here is an outside (the Minister) with two head students, just walking in Hogwarts. It is lovely how two students (Catsky and Elise Potter), using auditory functions (playing the piano), can make memories alive. It is wonderful how at the end, you say she is in a trance, and that it is Hermione's and Harry's first realization of love and first dance that puts it there. Great Job!
